My new home

So I'm finally getting around to doing a post about my new home. My family and I moved into our new home in Feb. 2011 and it's been crazy with unpacking, getting ready for family to visit with us & fixing this or that. Plus, I'm trying to get ready for the new school year in April. I'm going to share a few photos of my new home so please keep in mind that I'm still remodeling! :)

Happy St.Patrick's Day

Happy St.Patrick's Day! I'm just sitting outside,watching my husband work on the shed & enjoying the warm weather in Florida. I should be in the house cooking dinner but I really don't feel like doing that or perhaps I should be painting the other bathroom in my house. Oh well...I will get to it soon or maybe not! I'm having a lazy day and enjoying every bit of it. I better get in the house before my husband starts telling me he needs help with cutting this and that. Hold this in place so I can nail it or whatever he comes up with.

Remodeling

So we are now remodeling our new home! The first 3 rooms on my list are the bathrooms & kitchen. Sometimes I wonder how I will get it done since I have 3 kids & we homeschool so it's really hard to fine time to get extra stuff done. All mommy's know what I'm talking about. I figured that I can just take my time and get it done when ever. I work at night painting or whatever needs to be done and on the weekends. The good news is....we don't have to put the new tub in the main bathroom! The lady I'm purchasing my home from is taking care of that. Still gotta finishd painting that bathroom.

Moved

It's been a looooong time since I have posted anything. My reason for that is: I had to pack up everything in my home because my family & I moved to our new home. It feels so good to be a home owner and not paying such high rent anymore. I will share a few pics of our new home and what I plan to fix. I MEAN UPDATE TO MY TASTE! lol
I got the house set up or should I say almost unpacked. I got 3 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, livingroom & kitchen done. I still have to unpack all the homeschool materials, books & hang up the photos in my home. On top of that we had a wonderful visit with my Aunt Judy & Uncle Charley. They gave us a few wonderful house warming gifts but the best gift they gave me was just being here for a few days visiting with us. I already miss them. Let me just say that my son Charles was fussy the second day and the baby was crying cause she dneeded a nap! lol
We will be starting a new homeschool year soon. I just need to hurry up and unpack all my homeschool materials and etc.
