What a day!

My husband stayed home today since he was/is sick! I'm thinking oh great because he is worst than the kids when they are sick. I couldn't get anything done and the only thing I'm thinking is when are they going to sleep!!! I have to sweep/mop the floors in the house and my family can't stay in one place for to long and that includes my husband. Perhaps tomorrow will be better.

Our weekend!

I went grocery shopping Friday night with my family and everything was going great until the debt machine was not working! The cashier wanted to fight with me about calling over the head cashier or manager to see if there was something wrong with there debt machine. All I wanted to do is pay for my groceries and go home. After 3 times of trying with my debt card, the cashier swearing we must not have the money to pay for our items, the head cashier comes over & says everything has to be done over. We had to keep our purchase around $40.00 because there systems was down at all stores. I felt like leaving but I really didn't want to go some where else & shop all over again so my almost $400.00 had to be done in small amounts so I could pay with my debt card. The good news is the kids were very good since we had to wait so long in check out! :)

On Saturday we just stayed home and relaxed. I was suppose to stop by an art gallery and drop off some homeschool supplies for a new homeschooler but I just didn't feel like it. On Sunday I finally got around to going to the art gallery with my family. It was great! My family got to check out art work by local artists so it turned into a field trip for us. I purchased a bangle bracelet for a friend of mine and she will be stopping by this afternoon to pick up her gift and we will most likely chat for a while.

Back to school in August

My oldest son starts school every year in February and we take a 1 month break in July. We start school again August 1 and continue until the holidays. Our evaluation is due in February so it must be done in January. My other son will be joining us in August & it will be a bit of a challenge since he has a speech delay. I will be sharing photos of projects, lesson plans & so much more. I've been preparing for August! Bought more supplies, another bookcase, printing out stuff for my youngest, moving everything around for a new set up & so on. Sometimes I wonder how I even found time to sleep or eat!

Beginning my own blog

For the last three years or so I have spent my time reading other people's blog so I thought it was time to start my own blog and share information, ideas & etc. about homeschooling or whatever else that comes to mind.
